The universities in Germany have two intakes, winter intake and summer intake. Winter is the primary intake in Germany, which starts in September/October and ends in February/March. The Summer Intake begins in March/April. A student can apply for Summer Intake between early December to January 15. German universities send out letters of acceptance in August/September or in February/March. It may take even longer to receive rejection letters.
