Minimum CRS score for June 13 Express Entry draw was 451
In the 92nd Express Entry draw held June 13, the Government of Canada issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 3750 candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) scores of 451 or above. The 12th Express Entry draw to have held in the year 2018, this draw is also the largest Express Entry draw held this year so far.
The June 13 Express Entry draw was an all-program invitation round and the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) used tie-break rule in this draw as well. The date and time for the tie-break was July 21, 2017 at 07:01:28 UTC. It means all candidates with a CRS score of 451 and above, who submitted their Express Entry profiles before the said date and time, received ITAs.
With the latest draw, the total number of invitations issued so far this year has risen to 35,950. A gradual increase in the number of ITAs issued can be observed in the all-program draws over the course of the year 2018. Two draws held in January saw 2750 ITAs being issued in each draw, followed by four draws each in February and March where 3000 ITAs were issued in each draw. In the four draws held each in April and May, 3500 ITAs were issued.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has set higher admission targets for 2018 and 2019, compared to 2017. So it is expected that draw sizes will increase and draws will become more frequent in the months to come.
