Established in 2007, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program was created to address the severe shortages of employees in the province across nearly all sectors of the economy! To maintain and boost its economy, Ontario has established a large number of high-demand jobs and needs skilled workers. Adding to it, Immigrants seeking permanent status in Canada prefer Ontario and its Provincial Nominee Program (OINP).

Currently, there are three alternatives available to you if you want to immigrate to Ontario:

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program

▶Human Capital Program

▶Employer Job Offer Program

▶ Business Immigration Program

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program offers both enhanced and base streams for these alternatives. Those that are in line with Canada’s three main economic immigration intakes are called enhanced.

Canada’s three immigration intakes :

They correspond with the Express Entry system, a Federal Immigration program.

Candidates seeking provincial nomination under the OINP must obtain an Expression of Interest. based on the information in the EOI and the result of the Ontario PNP points calculator. Those who succeed in obtaining nominations under this enhanced stream will receive 600 points in the CRS, which almost ensures that they will receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada

When is the next PNP draw for Ontario expected to happen?

Ontario conducts PNP draws every two months that is on a bi-monthly basis with a few exceptions.. Information based on draws is usually not disclosed in advance by the Ontario government.
