The upcoming intake periods and quotas for Quebec business immigration streams have been announced. Quebec Investor, Quebec Entrepreneur, and Quebec Self-Employed are the three popular Quebec business immigration streams. The intake periods and quotas for these immigration streams are as follows:
- Quebec investor Stream: 1900 applications will be accepted from September 10th, 2018 to March 15th, 2019
- Quebec Entrepreneur Stream: 60 applications will be accepted from August 15th, 2018 to March 31st, 2019
- Quebec Self-Employed Stream: 50 applications will be accepted from August 15th, 2018 to March 31st, 2019
The last time the Quebec Investor stream opened to accept applications was earlier this year. The other two streams have not had an intake period in the past 12 months. It shows how rarely the immigration streams open to accept applications. So this is a golden opportunity for business people planning to migrate to Quebec.
Quebec Business immigration
Quebec Business Immigration classes allow foreigners with business experience to immigrate to the province. Currently, Quebec has three business immigration classes:
Quebec Investor: This Quebec business immigration class is for foreign business persons who plan to invest in Quebec. The applicants under this business class must have a minimum net worth of 2 million CAD and be ready to invest minimum 1.2 million CAD in Quebec.
Quebec Entrepreneur: Foreigners with two years of experience in running a business can apply under this Quebec business class. The applicant must have net assets worth 300,000 CAD and an approved business project proposal for starting a new business or acquiring an existing business in Quebec.
Quebec Self-Employed: This class is for the foreign nationals who wish to come to Quebec and create their own job. The applicants must have two years of experience as a self-employed worker and net asset worth 100,000 CAD.
