According to a recent change introduced by Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), those applying to Manitoba Express Entry Stream will have to submit a few additional mandatory documents. The three additional documents required to apply to the Manitoba Express Entry pathway, which is part of the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, are:
-Education credential assessment for education outside of Canada
-Copy of your Express Entry profile details from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
-Financial documents proving you meet low income cut-off requirements.
Education credential assessment
If you were educated outside Canada, you will have to get your education qualifications assessed. An Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) verifies the Canadian equivalence of a foreign degree, diploma, or certificate. The Education credential assessment can be done through one of the Canadian assessing bodies such as World Education Services (WES). The candidate will have to submit the education assessment report while applying for visa.
Express Entry profile details
The applicants must provide an Express Entry profile and verification code in their Expression of Interest and/or application. They must submit a copy of their Express Entry application/profile obtained from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Documents to prove you meet the LICO requirements
You have to submit fund documents to prove that you meet the LICO requirements. Low-income cut-offs (LICO) are income thresholds. The families with income below this threshold are most likely to spend a major share of their earning on basic necessities of food, shelter, and clothing than the average family. Manitoba updates the proof of funds numbers every year based on 50 per cent of the low income cut-off totals. The changes may be small but these may affect your eligibility.
Other documents needed to apply to Manitoba Express Entry:
-Passport or travel document
-Language test results
-Provincial nomination (if you have one)
-Written job offer from an employer in Canada (if applicable)
While applying for permanent residence in Canada, you will need documents including:
-Police certificates
-Medical exams
