Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another Express Entry draw, inviting 763 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates to apply for permanent residency. The draw held on August 13, 2023, required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 690.
Draw Highlights
- Number of Invitations: 763
- Program: Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
- Minimum CRS Score: 690
- Draw Date: August 13, 2023
This marks the first draw of August and follows a series of Express Entry draws throughout July, where IRCC issued over 25,000 ITAs. The consistent influx of invitations demonstrates Canada’s ongoing commitment to attracting skilled foreign workers to support its economic growth.
To be eligible for this draw, candidates needed to have a provincial nomination from a participating province or territory and meet the minimum CRS threshold. Obtaining a provincial nomination awards candidates with an additional 600 CRS points, significantly boosting their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
The increasing CRS cutoff reflects the growing competition among Express Entry candidates. Individuals interested in immigrating to Canada through the PNP are encouraged to carefully assess their eligibility, build a strong Express Entry profile, and actively explore provincial nomination opportunities.
