The International Mobility Program allows the employer in Canada to employ a temporary worker without having to receive a Labour Market Impact Assessment ( LMIA). An LMIA (Labor Market Impact Assessment) is usually needed for Canadian employers seeking to hire temporary foreign workers, but there are a number of exceptions to the LMIA requirement.
