In the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program or MPNP draw held on June 30 invited 348 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination. Among the total number of invitations issued, 186 invitations were issued to Skilled Workers in Manitoba with a minimum score of 773 points. International Education Stream candidates received 79 invitations. The remaining 83 invitations were issued to Skilled Workers Overseas candidates through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative with a minimum score 711.
Among the total number of invitations issued, 59 went to Express Entry candidates.
How to receive invitation under Skilled Worker Overseas stream?
The Skilled Worker Overseas stream has both Canada Express Entry Pathway and a direct provincial pathway. The stream targets candidates with skills and experience in the In-demand occupations of Manitoba. Close family connections in the province and language proficiency are also factors that increase the chances of receiving an invitation to apply for provincial nomination under this stream.
To be eligible under Manitoba Express Entry pathway, a candidate must have an active Express Entry profile. Besides they must also have work experience in one of the in-demand occupations of Manitoba. Under Human Capital pathway, candidates need to demonstrate their skills, training and work experience in one of the in-demand occupations of Manitoba.
International Education Stream
International Education stream targets international graduates from Manitoba institutions of higher education. Now, it is not mandatory for candidates to have six months of work experience in order to apply for an MPNP nomination. It has three pathways:

Career Employment Pathway
To be eligible under this pathway, the candidate must have completed a study program with a minimum duration of one year in Manitoba. The candidate must have completed the education with the last three years before submitting the application. The candidate must also have a full-time job offer and also be residing in Manitoba.
