Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream
The Skilled Workers in Manitoba selects candidates on the basis of the specific needs of Manitoba employers. Foreign workers with required skills are selected under the Stream and they are nominated for permanent residence in Canada. The stream gives priority to those who have a strong attachment to Manitoba. The Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream has two pathways – Manitoba Work Experience Pathway and Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway. Manitoba Work Experience Pathway is for those who are currently working in Manitoba on temporary work permits. Both temporary foreign workers and international graduates may apply under this pathway. It is not mandatory that the candidates are working in an In-Demand Occupation to qualify. Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway is for those applicants from overseas who have job offers from approved Manitoba employers.
Skilled Worker Overseas Stream
The Skilled Worker Overseas stream has both an Express Entry pathway and a Human Capital pathway. The Express Entry pathway is for those candidates who have an active Express Entry profile. Further, the candidate must have skills, training and experience in one of the In-Demand Occupations of Manitoba. They must also demonstrate their potential to become economically successful in Manitoba.
International Education Stream
The International Education Stream is for candidates from the colleges and universities in Manitoba. It has three pathways – Career Employment Pathway, Graduate Internship Pathway and Student Entrepreneur Pathway.
As per the Immigration Levels Plan of Canada for 2023-25, more number of immigrants would come to Canada through Provincial Nominee Program than through Express Entry. So, this is the right time to apply for Canada migration through PNP.
