270 invitations issued in British Columbia PNP draw on June 18

In the latest BC PNP draw held on June 18, a total of 270 invitations were issued to candidates across five provincial nomination streams. The minimum scores of selected candidates ranged from 75 to 105 points. The minimum score required by entry level and semi-skilled candidates was 75 points, while direct provincial skilled workers required 95 points to qualify. At the same time, candidates who belonged to the Express Entry-linked stream required 105 points. The minimum score required for international graduates was 100.

June 11 British Columbia PNP draw

The previous British Columbia PNP draw held on June 11 issued 57 invitations to skilled workers and international graduates through the BC PNP Tech Pilot. The candidates of all the four selected streams following, were required to have a minimum score of 90:

  • EEBC – Skilled Worker
  • EEBC – International Graduate
  • SI – Skilled Worker
  • SI – International Graduate

British Columbia PNP

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) aims to nominate those candidates, who wish to settle in the province of British Columbia, for permanent residence in Canada. The federal government allocates a limited number of nominations for British Columbia PNP every year. British Columbia PNP operates in partnership with the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Applying for permanent residence in Canada through British Columbia PNP involves two steps: Applying for nomination from British Columbia and applying for permanent residence upon obtaining the provincial nomination.
British Columbia PNP has three major immigration categories:  Skills Immigration, Express Entry BC, Entrepreneur Immigration. Each of these categories also has a few immigration streams under them.
British Columbia PNP processes the applications for provincial nominations under Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC within two or three months. Applications for entrepreneur immigration are usually processed within six weeks.
