WHATSAPPThe Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream of New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NB PNP) targets those who have graduated from a post-secondary institution in New Brunswick and established a successful business here.
In order to be eligible under the stream, the candidate must meet certain requirements which include:
Previous connection to New Brunswick
To be eligible for the New Brunswick Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream, the candidate must have completed a two-year post-secondary study program in New Brunswick. They must also have operated a business that they own in New Brunswick for at least one year. The study program they have pursued in New Brunswick must be full-time and at a recognized university or the New Brunswick Community College, with a duration of at least two years. The candidate must also have lived in New Brunswick during the academic program.
Language proficiency
The candidate must demonstrate minimum language proficiency in English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7.
Education
Candidates must have completed a post-secondary program in New Brunswick with duration of at least two years.
Work experience
Candidates must have owned and operated a business in New Brunswick for at least one year at the time of application. They must also possess a valid Post-Graduate Work Permit.
Age
The age of the candidate must be between 22 and 40 years.
Points Assessment Grid
The candidate must score minimum 65 on the Points Assessment Grid of New Brunswick Post-graduate Entrepreneurial Stream.
Business requirements
The candidate must own and have operated a successful business in New Brunswick for at least one year. They must have full ownership (100%) of the business, and must be actively involved in its day-to-day management. The candidate must also receive a salary from the business equal to at least the Low-Income Cut-Off plus ten percent. The business must be for-profit and employ at least one Canadian citizen or permanent resident on a full-time basis.
Eligible candidates interested in applying through the New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream can submit an EoI along with a business concept to the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP).
