WHATSAPPQuebec’s Department of Immigration has come up with a date for releasing its new Arrima Platform. The platform was undergoing final user experience tests the previous month and it has been announced that the platform will go online from the 18th of September at 8 AM (Montreal time), 5.30 PM in India.
Quebec’s introduction of the Expression of Interest System on August 2nd facilitated individuals to apply for the Quebec Skilled Worker Program and paved path for the introduction of the platform. The new Quebec Expression of Interest System has put an end to the first-come, first-served application selection method and promises to reduce the processing time to less than 12 months.
Applicants will now have to complete and submit a Declaration of Interest in the Arrima portal in order to immigrate under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program. Along with the introduction of the Arrima platform, the Department is also introducing a new system which will invite qualified workers on a continuous basis to apply for Quebec Immigration.
With the introduction of the Arrima platform, it is expected that the application process would be quite efficient & quick, benefitting both the individual and the province.
