In the latest Express Entry draw held on October 3, 2018, a total of 3900 candidates are set to receive invitations to apply for permanent residence in Canada. The minimum cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for this draw was 445 points, four points higher than the previous all-program draw held on September 19.
The tie-break rule was applied in this draw too, the date and time being October 2, 2018 at 04:02:11 UTC. It means all candidates with a CRS score of 445, who submitted their Express Entry profile before the said date and time, are invited to apply.
Including today’s draw, the IRCC has so far issued a total of 66,400 ITAs. The previous draw held on September 24 was a program-specific draw, which invited 400 Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) candidates with a CRS score of 284 points and above.
The last time when the number of invitations sent stood at 3900 was in the Express Entry draw held on September 5, 2018. This is the highest number so far this year.
