A total of 3900 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residence in Canada were issued In the latest Express Entry draw held on October 29. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required in the draw was 442. As in the previous draws, tie-break rule was applied in this draw as well, the date and time is October 16, 2018, at 06:09:04 UTC. It means all candidates with a score of 442 and above, who submitted their Express Entry profiles before the said date and time, were invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
Today’s draw is the 103rd draw since the Express Entry system came into existence. This is the fourth time since September 5 the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is issuing 3,900 Invitation to Apply (ITA), which remains the highest number of invitations to have issued in Express Entry draws till date. Compared to the previous draw that took place on October 15, the minimum cut off score was raised two points–from 440 to 442—in the latest draw. Including the October 29 draw, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada(IRCC) has so far issued 74,200 ITAs this year. As per Canada’s Multi-Year Levels Immigration Plan, IRCC has set a target to admit 74900 new immigrants in 2018.
