3200 candidates receives Invitations to Apply in December 11 Express Entry draw

Canada invited 3200 candidates to apply for permanent residence in the latest Express Entry draw held on December 11. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score was 472, one point higher compared to the previous draw held on November 27.
As in the previous draws, tie-break rule was applied in the December 11 draw as well, the time stamp given being December 6, 2019 at 03:03:49 UTC. It means not all candidates with a CRS score of 472 points received ITAs in the latest draw, but those who had submitted their Express Entry profiles before the said date and time were prioritized.
Federal Express Entry draws usually take place in every two weeks. As the next probable date falls on December 25, which is a federal holiday in Canada, it is highly likely that the next Express Entry draw would take place at a later date.
The number of ITAs issued in the December 11 draw is 3200, which means a drop of 400 in number compared to the previous draw held on November 27. The decrease in the number of ITAs is assumed to be the reason for CRS score increasing by one point.
The Immigration Levels Plan for 2019-2021 says that Canada would be admitting around 256000 candidates through Express Entry. Yet another 200000 new permanent residents would be admitted through Provincial Nominee Programs within these three years.
