In the latest Arrima draw held on December 9, Quebec invited 326 skilled workers to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). The invited candidates belong to the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP). These candidates were also required to have a profile in the Arrima pool and a score of at least 633.
The latest Arrima draw specifically targeted those candidates who had a valid job offer outside the Montreal Metropolitan Area and had work experience in occupations that are currently in high demand in Quebec.

In 2021, Quebec conducted 13 Arrima draws and invited a total of 3564 candidates to apply. One draw was held in January. Monthly draws were held between March and June. Three draws were held in August, two in September and monthly draws were held till December.
Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program
Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QRSW) helps the province select candidates who have the skills and work experience to economically establish themselves in the province. Candidates who are invited to apply for permanent selection have a maximum of 60 days to submit their application and pay processing fees. Quebec aims to process complete applications within six months, starting on the date all the required information has been received.
Quebec immigration 2022
In 2022, Quebec is planning to admit 49500 t0 52500 candidates across different immigration categories. However, most of the newcomers will be admitted through the economic immigration programs of the province, which are the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) and Quebec Experience Program (PEQ). An additional 18000 candidates, who could not be admitted in 2020 owing to the pandemic, will also be welcomed to Quebec in 2022. It means, Quebec will admit a total of 70000 newcomers next year.
