Is studying in Germany free of charge?
The tuition fees are levied for all domestic and international students for undergraduate programs in public institutions. However, you are required to pay a nominal amount of €150-250 for enrolment and admission. All other private institutions charge tuition fees and each of them differ in charging the tuition fee

Do I need a visa to study in Germany?
You do not need to take up a visa if you belong to any of the European countries. However, you will need to register for a residence permit upon your arrival in Germany if from any of these countries: Australia, New Zealand, US, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland or Israel.
If you are anywhere from Andorra, Brazil, El Salvador, Honduras, Monaco, San Marino or Taiwan, you no need to take a visa unless you want to work in Germany after your studies.
If you do not belong to any of the countries listed above, then you must apply for student visa 3 months prior to your journey to Germany.
Does Germany offer scholarships?

The government of Germany offers scholarships through DAAD and the European Commission’s Erasmus+.

Where do I live when in Germany?

Can I work during my studies?
If you are a European nationality, no restrictions are imposed on you for working during your course of study. However, if you are not from EU, you will be allowed to work 190 full days or 240 half days per year or 20 hours per week during your studies in Germany.
