The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has issued a new invitation round under its Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream, specifically targeting healthcare professionals. A total of 1,240 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) were sent to candidates with work experience in a variety of healthcare occupations.
Candidates received notifications if they had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 425 and 444 and relevant work experience in specific National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes. This move aims to attract highly qualified professionals to meet Ontario’s healthcare needs.
To be eligible, candidates’ work experience in one of the specified NOCs must be listed as their primary NOC in their Express Entry profile. For those assessed under the Canadian Experience Class, at least six months of their one-year eligible work experience must be in their primary NOC.

Candidates who received a NOI have a specific timeframe to submit a provincial nomination application. Successful nominees can then apply for Canadian permanent residency through the federal Express Entry system.
