Canada Issues 400 Express Entry ITAs For the Canadian Experience Class with a minimum CRS score of 539

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited 400 candidates to apply for permanent residence through the Express Entry system. This latest invitation round was held on November 19,2024. The draw saw a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement of 539. This marks a notable decrease from the previous CEC draw (#323), where the minimum CRS score was 547, reflecting a trend towards broader inclusivity in candidate selection.

The Canadian Experience Class is a key pathway for skilled workers already in Canada to obtain permanent residency. It is tailored to those who have Canadian work experience, possess strong language proficiency, and demonstrate the ability to integrate into the local economy and society seamlessly.

The reduction in the CRS cut-off score provides renewed hope for many aspiring candidates. This draw aligns with Canada’s ongoing commitment to meeting its ambitious immigration targets for 2024 and beyond. As the government prioritizes addressing labor market needs and demographic challenges, programs like the CEC continue to play an important role.
