BC PNP
Candidates who receive an invitation through the Express Entry aligned sub-category of BC PNP, get an ‘enhanced’ provincial nomination. These candidates receive 600 additional points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) and an Invitation to Apply (ITA) at a subsequent draw in the Federal Express Entry Pool.
Certain other categories of the BC PNP are managed under British Columbia’s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) where the candidates have to enter into the SIRS pool to apply. A major pre-requisite to apply through SIRS is that candidates must have a job offer from an employer in BC.
