Eligibility to study in Ireland

Intakes in Ireland

How to Apply for your Student Visa
Step 1: For Study Visa, Apply application Online through the AVATS system
Step 2: Collect all your documentation and ensure you make copies of all original documents.
Step 3: Make an appointment with VFS.
Step 4: Submit application, all documents, and provide biometrics to VFS.
Step 5: Your application will be processed in the New Delhi Visa Office.
Step 6: Once the decision is made, the VFS will forward the decision to you.
Step 7: If you are granted a visa, you can book your flights and make all your travel arrangements.
Staying in Ireland after studies
If you are a student in Ireland, you are provided with the opportunity to work in the country.
- International students those studying a course on the Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP), can work on an Irish Student Visa. Students receive Stamp 2 permission, allows to work part time.
- Stamp 2 will allow you to work 20 hours per week in a working day or up to 40 hours per week in holidays.
- If your course is not on the ILEP, you will receive Stamp 2A in your passport. Stamp 2A will not allow you to take up any work or employment while in Ireland.
