Every year, the IRCC receives around 20000 interest-to-sponsor forms under the PGP program. But only 35000 applications are available.

The policy must provide a minimum coverage of $100,000. They must also submit proof for paying medical insurance.
Recently it had been announced that Canada’s Immigration Minister would be given the authority to designate international medical insurance companies to provide coverage to Super Visa applicants in the future. But not further update on the matter has been made on the matter till date.
