The Ontario Tech Draw held on April 13 invited 528 Express Entry candidates to apply for provincial nomination. The candidates were invited under the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of the candidates who received invitations in the latest Ontario Tech Draw ranged between 456 and 467. They are also required to have at least one year of work experience one of the following targeted occupations:

If the invited candidates do not have work experience in one of these occupations, their applications will be refused. Those who have obtained their educational credentials from outside Canada, also need to submit their Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report.
The invited candidates may submit their complete application form within 45 calendar days. If they obtain provincial nomination from Ontario, they will have 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score points added to their total CRS score. This guarantees them an Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence in Canada in the subsequent federal Express Entry draw.
The draw held on April 13 is the second Ontario Tech Draw of 2021. In the first Tech Draw of the year held on February 16, another 1186 candidates had received invitations from OINP.
Ontario Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream
To be invited to apply for provincial nomination under the Human Capital Priorities Stream of OINP, the candidates must have a valid Express Entry profile. The candidates must demonstrate language proficiency in English or French, equal to the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7. They should also demonstrate that they have enough settlement funds.
The Human Capital Priorities stream operates on invitation-only basis. The Express Entry candidates need to receive a Notification of Interest from Ontario in order to apply under this stream.
