Amid the COVID pandemic, can I move to Canada or UK for the Fall intake 2021?

As known, there are several intakes that the universities abroad have been taking students in. These include Winter intake or Spring intake, Fall intake or Autumn Intake and Summer intake.

Winter or Spring intakes are conducted in the months of January or February of each academic year while Fall or Autumn Intakes are conducted in September. Summer intake is an add on and is limited to certain institutions in Canada and UK. The admission in this period is purely decided by the respective institutions.

Many would have aspired to kick off the overseas education journey in top spots like Canada and UK. But the covid pandemic was out of the blue and it made no one country but all the countries drop the bomb shell to impose strict restrictions for foreign entry.

Now, every international student who got admission or who is planning to will wonder if he or she can fly to Canada or UK to join the classes of 2021’s fall intake.  First of all, to attend the classes in the fall intake, you should have completed your application and registration process before march’21. If you have not, then use the deadlines to apply for the Jan’22 intake. Be an early bird.

Otherwise, if you have applied and got admission, all you have to do is wait in patience. You are already there and it’s just the situation which should turn favourable. It’s hard to predict when the borders will open but it’s obvious once covid subsides or disappears from the world. 

You don’t have to be worried about skipping the classes as many educational institutions abroad are adapting online classes that are appropriate to the situation. And, once when the border restrictions are revoked, you can pack your bags and board the flight, until then hang in there.

Also, don’t forget to take the vaccine as there are talks that vaccinated students are likely to be invited. If it happens then you could seize the chance.
