Canada revises permanent residence fees

Canada Immigration

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has revised the permanent residence fees to adjust to the inflation. The last revision of the permanent residence fees occurred in 2020, when the IRCC increased the permanent residence fees to account for inflation for the first time since 2002. Then it had been also announced that the fees would be increased in every two years to adjust for inflation. The revised fee would come into effect by April 30. So, from that date onwards, applicants for permanent residence under all categories including economic and family classes will have to pay the revised fee.
