Canada Issues 5,000 Express Entry ITAs For the Canadian Experience Class with a minimum CRS score of 510

Express Entry draw 307

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 5,000 Invitations to apply in the latest Express Entry draw, which is going to be a great relief for skilled workers with Canadian work experience seeking permanent residency. This, in fact, as already established, targeted candidates who fell in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) stream and required them to have no less than a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 510.

The high number of draw requests shows that Canada is still interested in encouraging skilled foreign workers to come to the country and contribute to its economy. A CEC pathway of preference will be accorded to persons who have already acquired beneficial work experience inside Canada, further rendering such individuals ideal for the contribution they will accord the country’s labor market.

The fact that the cut-off is way lower than that of previous draws shows a positive trend for all eligible candidates in this pool. However, an ITA is still competitive, which translates to the necessity of having a strong Express Entry profile. Those applicants who are lucky enough to get ITAs will be given a specific time period within which to submit a full application for permanent residence; upon approval, they will be given the chance to live and work in Canada permanently.

This latest draw is yet another indicator that Canada upholds immigration once again, as one of the country’s strong commitments which forms the base of its economic strategy—welcoming skilled workers through such programs as Express Entry, it will strive for innovation, growth, and prosperity.
