IRCC issues 733 ITAs in latest Express Entry PNP draw with a minimum CRS score of 812

Express entry draw 321

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has done another Express Entry draw, this time issuing 733 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence. The draw’s target was candidates in the pool of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

To be eligible for this draw, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 812. This is a slight uptick from the last PNP draw, where the minimum CRS score was 791. The tie-breaking rule used in this draw was March 2, 2024, at 1:58 AM UTC.

Express Entry is Canada’s primary economic immigration program, managing the pool of candidates for three economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class. Candidates are ranked in the pool based on factors such as age, education, work experience, language ability, and other qualifications. Provincial Nominee Programs can indeed be an easier and more targeted pathway to obtain Canada PR under Express Entry. If a candidate is nominated through a Provincial Nominee Program aligned with the federal Express Entry system, they receive an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
