Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream
The Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream caters to the needs of Manitoba employers. Under the stream, foreign workers with the required skills are selected and nominated for permanent residence. The stream gives priority to candidates with a strong attachment to Manitoba. The stream has two pathways under it, Manitoba Work Experience Pathway and Employment Direct Recruitment Pathway. The Manitoba Work Experience Pathway is for temporary workers and international graduates in the province. However, the candidates must have work experience in one of the In-demand Occupations. Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway is for those candidates with job offers from approved Manitoba employers.
Skilled Worker Overseas Stream
The Skilled Worker Overseas Stream is for Canada Express Entry Pathway and a direct provincial pathway. This pathway is also for international skilled workers with skills and training in one of the in-demand occupations of Manitoba. However, priority is given to candidates with close family connection to Manitoba, combined with language proficiency, training and work experience. Manitoba Express Entry pathway is for candidates who meet Express Entry criteria and have an active Express Entry profile. To be eligible under the stream, candidates must also have In-demand Occupations of Manitoba and a strong family connection to the province. At the same time, the Human Capital pathway targets candidates with experience in In-Demand Occupations and the potential to find employment in Manitoba.
International Education Stream
International Education Stream is for international students who graduated from Manitoba colleges and universities. It has three pathways under it, Career Employment Pathway, Graduate Internship Pathway and Student Entrepreneur Pathway.
