Ontario has invited 488 candidates to apply for provincial nomination through the Human Capital Priorities Stream of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). The latest round of invitations took place on February 12. Notifications of Interest (NoIs) were issued to candidates chosen from the Express Entry pool, with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores between 435 and 441. The invitations were sent to those eligible candidates who had created their Express Entry profiles between January 1st and February 8th, 2018, 4pm(EST).
Those who have received NoIs can now apply for provincial nomination by Ontario for permanent residence in Canada. The successful candidates will receive an additional 600 CRS points.
Human Capital Priorities Stream
Through the Human Capital Priorities Stream, Ontario selects candidates with a minimum CRS score of 400 for provincial nomination from the Express Entry pool. This for the fourth time, invitations are being sent under this Stream in 2018. The previous rounds of invitations took place on January 23, January 25 and February 8. In all these rounds, Ontario has issued a total of 1297 invitations.
