Immigration Streams under Manitoba PNP

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program allows the province to select immigration candidates with the skills to meet their labour market requirements and nominate them for permanent residence in Canada. In order to receive an invitation to apply for provincial nomination from Manitoba, the candidate must first submit and Expression of Interest to the MPNP. Each of these Expression of Interest profiles is then awarded a score based on various eligibility factors such as age, education, work experience etc. Those with the highest scores receive invitation from Manitoba to apply for provincial nomination. And also, the Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas candidates must demonstrate previous connections to the province in the form of close family members residing in the province or previous study or work experience in the province or having received invitations under one of the strategic recruitment initiatives of Manitoba. However, it is not necessary for the candidate to be physically present at the province.

At the same time, Skilled Workers in Manitoba candidates must have a full time job offer from Manitoba. To be eligible under the International Graduate Stream, the candidates must have completed their education from a post-secondary institution in Manitoba and possess skills that are in demand in the province. The Express Entry candidates who receive nomination from Manitoba will have 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System score points added to their total CRS score and that guarantees them an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada in the federal Express Entry draw.
