The Government of Manitoba has come up with a new immigration pathway which allows international graduates who have pursued post-secondary education in institutions of Manitoba apply for an Expression of Interest.Manitoba, also known as The Keystone Province considers international education seriously and takes best possible methods which would eventually increase the benefits for international graduates. To be eligible for the new Career Employment Pathway,
- A student should have graduated by studying a full-time program for at least a minimum of one year and should also be living in the province at the time he/she is submitting their Expression of Interest (EOI).
- He/she should be having a full-time job offer from an eligible employer and it should also be an occupation that is in-demand in Manitoba (or) should have completed a bridging program and cleared the initial stage of certification.
How the Expression of Interest System Works?
An Expression of Interest System is nothing but the opportunity for individuals to let the Manitoba Government know that they are interested to settle in the province. Candidates who apply and are found eligible should answer questions online related to their Education, proficiency in English or French and other related questions.
Once when the above has been done, the candidate will then receive a Letter of Advice stating him/her to apply for a provincial nomination.
The Career Employment Pathway is one of the three International Education Stream which helps international graduates settle in Manitoba. The Government’s innovative plan to retain international graduates under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program acts as the key element to the economic growth!
