Ontario holds two Human Capital Priorities Stream draws, invites health and tech professionals

In the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program(OINP) draw held on March 9, the province issued Notifications of Interest to 822 Healthcare professionals. The candidates were selected under the Human Capital Priorities Stream and the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of the invited candidates ranged between 469 and 489. Ontario conducted another Human Capital Priorities Stream draw the other day and issued Notifications of Interest to 815 tech professionals. The CRS score range of the selected candidates was 479-489.

Human Capital Priorities Stream

The Human Capital Priorities Stream under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program(OINP) allows foreign workers with required skilled work experience, language abilities and education to obtain Ontario’s nomination for permanent residence in Canada. To be eligible, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. An active Express Entry profile
2. Required level of work experience in an eligible occupation
3. Graduate-level education, having completed a study program with a duration of at least three-years. Those who have their qualification obtained from outside Canada must have their Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) done.
4. Minimum language proficiency in English or French, equal to Canadian Language Benchmark(CLB) 7
5. Demonstrate sufficient settlement funds
6. Intention to demonstrate their intention to live in Ontario
