629 immigration candidates received invitations in Saskatchewan PNP draw

In the Saskatchewan Expression of Interest draw held on August 25, a total of 629 immigration candidates received invitations to apply for provincial nomination. Among the total number of invitations issued, 334 invitations went to the Occupations In-Demand Stream of Saskatchewan. The minimum score required for the candidates to receive an invitation in the draw was 65.  The remaining 295 invitations went to the Express Entry stream. The draw targeted candidates with work experience in any of the 10 targeted National Occupational Classification codes.

To receive an invitation in a Saskatchewan Expression of Interest draw, a candidate must first submit an EOI profile to Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program. The eligible candidates will be selected from the pool of these EOI profiles and invited to apply for provincial nomination. The candidates who receive an invitation must submit a complete application within 60 days. Upon assessment by SINP officials, selected candidates will be awarded with a provincial nomination.

Occupation-In-Demand Sub Category

To be eligible under this Sub-category of SINP a candidate must score at least 60 points on the SINP points assessment grid. The minimum language proficiency requirement is Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4. Post-secondary level education of at least one year and minimum one year of relevant work experience are also required. They must also have proof of settlement funds and a settlement plan.

Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category

To be eligible under this sub-category, a candidate must have a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code.  They must also score a minimum of 60 points on the SINP points assessment grid.  Post-secondary level education with duration of at least one year, one year of relevant work experience, professional license, settlement funds and settlement plan are the other requirements.
