International Skilled Worker – Saskatchewan Express Entry

Under this sub-category of Saskatchewan provincial nominee program, the province nominates those candidates who are already there in the federal Express Entry pool and who have skilled work experience in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan. This Express Entry sub-category of Saskatchewan provincial nominee program also operates under the Expression of Interest system of Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Expression of Interest system

In order to be considered for provincial nomination under the Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand sub-categories of Saskatchewan provincial nominee program, a candidate must first submit an Expression of Interest(EoI) and demonstrate his/her skills and qualifications. Existing Work Permit

Health professionals, hospitality workers and long-haul truck drivers have exclusive sub categories under the Existing Work Permit.

The students must have worked in Saskatchewan for at least 24 months before applying, besides meeting other Saskatchewan PNP eligibility requirements. The candidates must be ready to actively manage the business on a day-to-day basis. This category too operates on an Expression of Interest model.

Farm Owners and Operators Sub-Category

Under this sub-category, experienced farmers ready to invest in a farming operation in Saskatchewan and move to the province permanently can apply for a provincial nomination.
