64 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) were issued through Ontario Express Entry streams
In the latest Ontario Express Entry invitation rounds held on May 23 and 24, a total of 64 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) were issued through the Skilled Trades and French-Speaking Skilled Worker streams, which are two Ontario Express Entry streams.
Since the second week of April, Ontario has been conducting invitation rounds through both these streams every week. Since the start of the year 2018, Ontario has issued a total of 727 NoIs through the Skilled Trades Stream. The number of NoIs issued through the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream this year is 502.
A total of 30 Express Entry candidates who received invitations through the Skilled Trades Stream of Ontario Express Entry have submitted their Express Entry profiles between January 1, 2018, and May 23, 2018. The number of Ontario Express Entry candidates who received invitations through the French-speaking Skilled Worker Stream is 34.
Ontario Express Entry streams
The Ontario Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream is for skilled workers who have a valid Express Entry profile and experience in an eligible skills trade. The French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream is for French-speaking Express Entry candidates who qualify for either the Federal Skilled Worker Class or the Canadian Experience Class and who have sufficient English language abilities. They must also meet other criteria unique to the province of Ontario.
Another 2587 NoIs were sent through Human Capital Priorities Stream, which is also linked to the Ontario Express Entry system. According to the OINP, it will continue to issue NoIs to eligible candidates from the Express Entry pool “on a regular basis”.
Those who have NoIs through the two Ontario Express Entry streams in the latest rounds of invitations can submit an online application to the OINP within 45 calendar days from the date of receiving the NoI letter.
