The 272 Express Entry candidates invited in the latest draw and scored 68 could qualify only if they had a work experience of 10 years and a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 8 or higher. Otherwise, they required a minimum EoI score of 69. A total of 47 occupations were included under the Express Entry subcategory.
The number candidates invited under the Occupations In-Demand subcategory was 262. All of them needed Educational Credential Assessments. A total of 55 occupations were included in the draw under this sub-category.

Saskatchewan Expression of Interest

The Expression of System helps the province of Saskatchewan to select those candidates who have the potential to succeed in the labour market of the province. The candidates are assessed on the basis of five eligibility factors, which are work experience, education, language ability, age and previous connections to the province. Based on this assessment, each candidate is awarded a score out of 100 on the International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.

Saskatchewan Express Entry

The Express Entry system manages applications for immigration under the three federal economic immigration programs, which are Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class. To receive an invitation in the Saskatchewan draw, the Express Entry candidates must have submitted an EoI to the SINP and scored at least 68 on the Points Assessment Grid.
Those who receive provincial nomination from Saskatchewan will have 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System score points added to their total CRS score and that would guarantee them an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada in the subsequent Express Entry draw.

Occupations In-Demand subcategory

Those candidates who do not have a federal Express Entry profile may apply under Occupations In-Demand sub-category. The program targets those candidates with work experience in occupations that are in demand in Saskatchewan.
