Manitoba PNP
If you want to receive an invitation to apply for provincial nomination under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category or Skilled Workers Overseas category, you need to submit an Expression of Interest to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program(MPNP). Each of the Expression of Interest profile is assessed on the basis of various human capital factors as well as previous connections to the province and awarded a score out of 1000. Those with the highest score receive an invitation in the subsequent MPNP EOI draw.
The Skilled Worker Overseas candidates need to demonstrate any connections to Manitoba in the form of close family ties, previous work experience or previous study in the province or an invitation received through one of the Strategic Recruitment Initiatives of Manitoba. However, it is not necessary to be residing in Manitoba at the time of submitting the application. To receive an invitation under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, you need to have a full-time job offer from a Manitoba employer. International graduates who have completed their education in one of the higher education institutions of Manitoba may receive an invitation under the International Education Stream, provided that they have in-demand skills.
Manitoba Express Entry
Express Entry is an online application management system for applications for Canada immigration, submitted through the three federal economic immigration programs of Canada, which are the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. The System assesses candidates on the basis of various human capital factors and awards a Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score. The candidates who are nominated by a province will receive 600 additional CRS score points and that would guarantee an invitation to apply for permanent residence in a subsequent federal Express Entry draw.
