A total of 3900 candidates are set to receive Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in the latest Express Entry draw held on November 28. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off threshold was 445 points. With the latest draw, the total number of invitations issued in Express Entry draws held so far this year has reached 82,000. Now Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is only around 4000 ITAs away from breaking last year’s record total of 86,023.
Tie-break rule was applied in this draw, the date and time being October 22, 2018 at 14:40:13 UTC. It means all candidates with a CRS score of 445 and above, who submitted their Express Entry profiles before the said date and time, will be receiving Invitations to Apply.
The number of candidates invited in this draw, 3900, is the joint-highest number of invitations issued so far this year. The minimum required CRS score came down by four points compared to the previous Express Entry draw held on November 15.
As per the updated Canada Immigration Levels Plan for 2019-2021, the country will be accepting around 256,000 over the next three years.
