British Columbia has been inviting candidates for the economic growth of the province and is taking every possible measure to make life better for the British Columbians by taking in potential immigrants who could make BC a better place. In its recent draw held on the 5th of March, British Columbia issued invitations to 346 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination.
British Columbia’s Express Entry categories are open to individuals who already have a profile in the Canadian Federal Express Entry System (the system which is responsible for Canada’s three most important economic immigration programs – the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program and the Canadian Experience Class Program). Candidates who get to receive a provincial nomination certificate from British Columbia get extra 600 additional CRS Scores which increases their chances to get a Canadian PR to a great extent.
The candidates invited during this draw were the skilled workers and international graduates in the Skills Immigration and Express Entry British Columbia streams, Skills Immigration Stream’s Entry Level & Semi-skilled category. Candidates to receive a provincial nomination certificate from British Columbia should have registered with BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) which is a points-based system determining the eligibility of the candidates to come to the province. The candidate will be assessed based on factors like age, educational qualification, language proficiency, work experience & more.,

- Express Entry British Columbia – 89
- Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduate – 97
- Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker – 89
- Skills Immigration International Graduate – 97
- Skills Immigration Entry Level & Semi-Skilled – 69
