Canada Express Entry

The Express Entry system of Canada manages applications for immigration under the three federal economic immigration programs of Canada, which are:  Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Each Express Entry candidate is awarded a CRS score based on various eligibility factors such as age, education, language proficiency, work experience etc. Candidates with the highest scores are invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada. Usually, in all-program Express Entry draws, Canada invites candidates with minimum CRS score in 400s. So those who have a provincial nomination are sure to get an invitation as they have 600 CRS score points added to their total score.
In 2020, a total 6716 Express Entry candidates received invitations from Ontario to apply for provincial nomination under the Human Capital Priorities stream. It is the largest proportion of invitations that Ontario issued through all of its Express Entry-linked PNP streams.
