Prince Edward Island PNP Express Entry category
The Express Entry category of Prince Edward Island is aligned to the federal Express Entry system. To receive an invitation from PEI PNP under this category, a candidate must have an Express Entry profile. The Express Entry system of Canada manages applications for immigration under three federal immigration programs, which are the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class. The Express Entry candidates are assessed and ranked on the basis of the Comprehensive Ranking System score. The candidates who have a provincial nomination will have 600 additional CRS score points, which effectively guarantee an invitation to apply for permanent residence from the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in the Express Entry draws that are conducted regularly.
Prince Edward Island PNP Labour Impact category
The foreign candidates who have a valid job offer from the Prince Edward Island may apply for a provincial nomination under the Labour Impact category. The category has three streams under it, Skilled Worker, Critical Worker and International Graduate. Candidates under this category also must submit an Expression of Interest to the PEI PNP to receive an invitation.
