In an unexpected move, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held a French language proficiency category-based Express Entry draw 371 on October 6, 2025, issuing 4,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence.Unlike the recent Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) rounds, this draw targeted candidates proficient in French marking a continued emphasis on promoting Francophone immigration outside Quebec.

Earlier in March, the CRS dropped as low as 410, showing fluctuating but steady opportunities for French-speaking candidates. Several successful clients secured their invitations in this round.
