Time is ripe to fasten your entry into Canada with revised admission targets for Express Entry & Canada’s Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP).
Whatsoever be the case, 2020 will witness a rise in overall admissions target to 85,800 for the three federal Express Entry programs – Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canada Experience Class.
Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program, or PNP, is also becoming increasingly popular with the overall admissions target set to rise from 61,000 to 67,800 in 2020.
Some of the enhanced nomination streams under the Canada PNP are fully managed by the Express Entry system. Such streams have low or even no CRS score requirements for issuing provincial nominations. The provinces such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Prince Edward Island have issued invitations to Express Entry candidates in the recent weeks.

It is also to be noted that the increased intake targets for such programs in the upcoming year may have a downward pressure on the minimum CRS score required for qualification, as more people will be issued ITAs.
The CRS score under all-program Express Entry draw in 2019 alone touched its peak of 475 on October 30 draw. However, the minimum CRS hovered around 450-460 for the most part of the year. The enhanced provincial nomination streams have low as 300 (Alberta Express Entry stream) or no minimum CRS score requirements.
With the promising and encouraging opinions from the Canada immigration experts, 2020 is going to be an even bigger year for Express Entry and the PNP and that is something to look forward to.
