What is Canada Express Entry?
Canada Express Entry system is an online platform for managing applications for immigration under the three federal economic immigration programs, which are the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trades Program. Under the Express Entry system, candidates are assessed and ranked on the basis of the Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score. This score is determined based on various human capital factors such as age, education, work experience, etc. Those with the highest CRS scores are invited to apply for permanent residence in the draws that are conducted regularly. The candidates who have a provincial nomination will receive 600 additional CRS score points, that will give them a better chance to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
