The severe labour shortage crisis being faced by Canada is indeed creating more opportunities for immigration aspirants. However, certain occupations are likely to have more demand in 2022 than others, according to Human Resources giant Randstad.

Registered Nurse (NOC 3012)
The duties of registered nurses in Canada include providing direct nursing care to patients, delivering health education programs and providing consultative services which are relevant to nursing practice. A few number of nurses in Canada left their jobs owing to the mandatory vaccinations for healthcare staff. At the same time the massive, recent wave of the pandemic multiplied the demand for nurses than ever before. Registered nurses have a median annual wage of $78,000 in Canada.
Engineer (NOC 2131)

Experienced accountants have much demand across Canada and Randstad predicts a high level of job growth for accountants in the coming years. In Canada, accountants earn a median annual salary of $69,712.
Cloud Architect-Information Technology (NOC 2171)
