In the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP Tech Pilot) draw held on July 18, a total of 27 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination were sent to skilled workers and international graduates.
The Tech Pilot scheme of British Columbia helps the province attract foreign talent in 29 in-demand occupations. Qualified candidates with a valid job offer in one of these eligible occupations can apply for a provincial nomination through BC PNP Tech Pilot. The candidates are selected through the weekly draws from BC PNP’s pool of candidates.
BC PNP Tech Pilot
According to BC PNP, Tech Pilot was introduced with an aim to transform British Columbia “as a preferred location for new and emerging technologies, increasing the growth of domestic B.C. tech companies, and removing barriers to attracting skilled workers.”
The candidates invited under the Tech Pilot program must submit their application for provincial nomination within 30 days. Applications from Tech Pilot candidates will be processed on priority basis. The selected candidates will be nominated by British Columbia for permanent residence in Canada.
