Manitoba PNP Expression of Interest system
Those candidates, who wish to receive an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination from Manitoba under either the Skilled Workers in Manitoba or Skilled Workers Overseas stream, must first submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) to the Manitoba PNP. Each of the Expression of Interest profile submitted in this manner is assessed on the basis of various human capital factors such as language skills, work experience, education, and previous connections to Manitoba and awarded a score out of 1000. The highest-scoring candidates receive LAAs to apply for a provincial nomination from Manitoba.
The Skilled Workers Overseas category and Skilled Workers in Manitoba streams help Manitoba select foreign workers who are capable of contributing to the economic development of the province. Those candidates applying from outside Canada must demonstrate previous connections to Manitoba, which means close family members or friends residing in the province or previous study or work experience in the province. An invitation obtained through one of the Strategic Recruitment Initiatives of Manitoba is also considered a factor that makes the candidate eligible to receive an invitation.
For Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the candidate must have a full-time permanent job offer from a Manitoba employer. At the same time, the International Education stream targets those who have graduated from the higher education institutions of Manitoba.
