In its latest targeted draw, Ontario Human Capital Priority Stream has issued Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to 947 Express Entry candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) scores as low as 350. The CRS score range for this draw held on August 9 was 350 to 439. NoIs were sent to those candidates who had submitted their Express Entry profiles between January 1, 2018, and August 9, 2018.The candidates were also required to have a job offer in Ontario. The candidates who have received NoIs from the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program can apply for a provincial nomination certificate within 45 calendar days.
Ontario Human Capital Priorities Stream
Through the Human Capital Priorities Stream, Ontario selects candidates who meet the specified criteria of the stream from the Express Entry pool. Normally, to be considered under this Stream, candidates must have a minimum CRS score of 400. But in the targeted draws as the latest one, candidates with lower CRS scores, who have an Ontario job offer or French proficiency, are also invited to apply. Ontario has so far issued 3,534 NOIs through the Human Capital Priorities Stream in 2018.
French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream issues invitations
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program sent another 14 invitations through its Express Entry-aligned French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream (FSSW). French-speaking Express Entry candidates, who qualify for either the Federal Skilled Worker Class or the Canadian Experience Class and have sufficient English language abilities (CLB 6 or higher), were invited to apply. The selected candidates were those who had submitted their Express Entry profiles between January 1, 2018, and August 9, 2018. The FSSW stream does not have a minimum CRS score requirement. This year, Ontario has issued 931 NOIs through the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream so far.
