Saskatchewan PNP draw of June 15 invites 255 candidates

sinp draw

Saskatchewan conducted a Provincial Nominee Program draw on June 15 and invited 255 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. All the invited candidates belong to the International Skilled Worker category of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program(SINP). Of the 255 invitations issued, 103 were issued under the Express Entry subcategory and 152 invitations were issued under the Occupations In-Demand subcategory of the International Skilled Worker category.

PNP Finder

In the past few months, Saskatchewan has issued around 250 invitations on an average in every two weeks. In the June 15 draw, the minimum Expression of Interest(EOI) score required for the candidates was 82, irrespective of the stream. They were also required to have their Educational Credential Assessments(ECA) done to ensure that their foreign educational qualifications were comparable to Canadian standards. Further, they were required to have work experience in one of the 55 in-demand occupations of Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Occupations In Demand subcategory

The immigration candidates who do not have an Express Entry profile may receive and invitation through the Occupations In Demand subcategory. Highly skilled workers who have experience in one of the in-demand occupations of Saskatchewan, who do not have a job offer, are eligible under this subcategory. In order to receive an invitation under this sub-category, the candidates must create an EOI profile through the online application system of SINP.

Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category

The Express Entry subcategory of the Saskatchewan PNP is aligned to the federal Express Entry system. The candidates who have an Express Entry profile may submit an EOI to the SINP to receive an invitation. If they are invited and successfully apply for provincial nomination from Saskatchewan, they will receive 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score points. This would guarantee them an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence in Canada in a subsequent Express Entry draw.

Provincial Nominee Programs are a great option for those who do not have an Express Entry profile and those who have low CRS scores. Do you wish to migrate to Canada? To find out your options under Canada PNP, connect with the Canada immigration consultants of CanApprove. Contact us now!
