Global IT giants are on a hiring spree in Canada, opening up even more opportunities for tech workers in the country. Because of the easy availability of tech workers in the country, most of the global tech giants have expanded their operations to Canada. In the wake of pandemic-fueled online shopping, retail giant Amazon announced that it would hire around 1500 tech employees in Canada this year alone. Opportunities are open for software development managers, data engineers, program managers, cloud computing solutions architects, sales and marketing executives etc. Earlier, global IT giant Mphasis Ltd. had also announced that it is planning to create 500 to 1000 new jobs in Canda. Besides Shopify, Google, Microsoft, Twitter and Pinterest have also announced that they have hiring plans in Canada this year.
